The EV company also recently published a job posting on Cars.com that reads--Do you want to be a part of opening the very first Rivian retail location in Venice Beach?
The Southern California-based startup was founded in 2009 by then-26-year-old RJ Scaringe, an MIT mechanical-engineering grad who remains the company's CEO.
Rivian developed and vertically integrated a connected electric platform that can be flexibly applied to a range of applications. The company’s launch products, the R1T and R1S, provide an unmatched combination of performance, off-road capability and utility, according to a press release put out by Rivian.
R1T pricing starts at $61,500 after Federal Tax credit. R1S pricing starts at $65,000 after Federal Tax credit.
Rivian also recently released that it had closed an investment round of $2.65 billion.
