Venice Fire Truck

VENICE -Firefighters responded to two encampment fires on Monday evening in Venice. 

Crews were called to put out a fire on the Venice Beach boardwalk. Video that taken of the fire show what appears to be a small explosion and flames coming from a tent. 

The fire was reported near Ocean Front Walk and Speedway at around 9:15 p.m. 

Engine 63 responded, but video shows the fire was put out before firefighters arrived on scene. 

About an hour later--Engine 63 responded to a rubbish fire at Lincoln Boulevard and California Ave. Crews were called around 10:17 p.m.
