VENICE-One person is in custody after police say they ran from a stolen motorcycle into a parked RV and refused to get out on Monday morning.

It happened around 8:35 a.m at Clubhouse Avenue and Main Street, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

Police say the suspect ran from the stolen vehicle into a black spray painted RV parked in front of the Westminster Elementary School on Main Street.

A nearby witness said about four police vehicles, a firetruck and an ambulance responded to the incident.

Police say an ambulance was called to the scene--but no further details were available at the time of this report on injuries.

Residents who live in the area say the RV involved in the incident has been a problem in the neighborhood--including being involved in dumping electronic equipment and car parts that include catalytic convertors.
